For a long time, I lived in the chase. Always wanting to be more, do more, prove more. No matter what I achieved, it didn’t feel enough. If I finished one goal, another one stood waiting. If I got praise, I thought it wasn’t real.
I didn’t notice how heavy it was to carry “not enough” every single day. It made me restless, comparing myself, feeling behind even when I was moving forward.
When the Shift Happened
The shift came slow, almost quietly. One night, writing in my journal, I asked myself—what if nothing changes tomorrow, would I still be okay with me? The answer was uncomfortable at first. But then I realized something—I am already living parts of the life I once wished for. I am already enough, even while I’m still growing.
What the Enough Mindset Means
The enough mindset doesn’t mean giving up. It doesn’t mean I stop chasing better things. It means I stop hating where I am right now. It means I can look at myself and say—yes, I want more, but who I am today is still worthy.
Living with Enough
Since then, everything feels lighter. I work hard, but not from fear. I rest without guilt. I try new things without the pressure of being perfect. I stopped competing with everyone’s highlight reel and started respecting my own messy progress.
If you’ve been stuck in the endless chase, maybe it’s time to pause. Look at yourself the way you’d look at a friend. Wouldn’t you tell them they’re already enough? Then tell it to yourself.
Because you are.
