Write for Prosnic

 (full-width)

Prosnic is a quiet space for people who feel a bit lost, tired, or stuck — but still want to grow. If your words can sit with someone on a hard day and help them breathe easier, there might be a home for them here.

You don’t need to be a “perfect writer.” You just need a real story, a gentle voice, and a desire to help people grow without shame or pressure.

What We’re Looking For

Topics that usually fit well on Prosnic:

  • Honest stories about habits, burnout, recovery, and starting again.
  • Mindset shifts that helped you live with less noise and more intention.
  • Simple, human-friendly productivity (no hustle worship, no “grind or die”).
  • Money and mindset — how your beliefs around money changed your life.
  • Slow growth, tiny changes, and “I thought I was broken, but…” moments.

If your piece helps someone feel less alone and gives them one small, practical step, it’s probably a good fit.

The Prosnic Voice

Every piece on Prosnic tries to be:

  • Calm – No shouting, no drama. Like a late-night conversation with a friend.
  • Honest – Real stories, real doubts, real mess. No pretending everything is perfect.
  • Gentle – No shaming, no “if you really wanted it, you’d try harder.”
  • Simple – Clear language, short paragraphs, no heavy jargon.

We love imperfections. You can write like a human. We’ll help polish it if the heart of the piece is right.

Pieces That Work Well Here

  • Story + shift – “Here’s what happened, here’s how it broke me, here’s what I learned.”
  • Gentle how-to – Practical steps for habits, focus, rest, or emotional growth.
  • Experiments – “I tried this for 7/30 days; here’s what actually changed.”
  • Reflections – Honest notes from failing, restarting, or choosing a slower life.

What We Don’t Publish

  • Hard-sell content, sales pages, or disguised ads.
  • Generic “10 tips” with no personal experience or heart behind them.
  • Harsh, shaming, or judgmental tone toward readers or yourself.
  • Copied, spun, or automated text. Prosnic is built on lived stories, not machine-made noise.
  • Medical, legal, or therapy claims that should really come from a professional.

Basic Guidelines

  • Length: usually 800–1,500 words. A bit more is fine if the story needs it.
  • Original: Please send work you wrote yourself and haven’t published elsewhere.
  • Structure: clear title, short intro, a simple flow, and a gentle takeaway at the end.
  • Style: write like you talk. Short sentences are welcome. So are quiet pauses.

How to Pitch Your Idea

Step by step:

  • Send an email to write@prosnic.com with the subject line:
Prosnic Pitch – [your working title].
  • In the body of the email, share:
    • 3–5 lines about your idea (what it’s about and why it matters to you).
    • Who the piece is for — the kind of person who would feel seen by it.
    • A few lines about you (no need for a big bio, just something real).
    • A link to your writing, if you have one (blog, newsletter, or doc).
  • You can attach a full draft as a Google Doc or Word file if it’s already written.
Example pitch (very short):

“I’d like to write about how failing a promotion at work quietly broke my confidence, and how I rebuilt it using tiny daily wins instead of big goals. I think this would help readers who feel stuck after a big disappointment and don’t know how to trust themselves again.”

What Happens After You Send

  • We’ll read your pitch carefully. If it feels like a fit, we’ll invite a full draft or suggest edits.
  • If we move forward, we may lightly edit for clarity, flow, or length — always keeping your voice.
  • You’ll get a byline, a short bio, and a link to one place you want people to find you.

We can’t publish every submission, but every email is read with respect. If something isn’t right for Prosnic now, it doesn’t mean your story doesn’t matter.

Your Byline & Bio

For accepted pieces, we’ll ask for:

  • A 2–3 line bio written in your own voice.
  • One main link (website, newsletter, or social profile).
  • Optional: a small headshot image.
Ready to share your idea?

If your heart is saying “I think my story could help someone,” that’s enough. You don’t have to be perfect or established. You just have to be willing to be honest.
